Thanks GVM will remember that. I suppose I expect to much when two very large blinds come out at £144 in todays climate. MM

I now know the name of the "mouthy c#w" and I am obviously not the only one with this view.
The name begins with a "K" ands with an "i" and only has these 2 letters in it.
She is the reason I will no longer send in a quote.
Totally unprofessional, unhelpful and rude, she must be looking for a promotion as an fsm.

Stopped using Quotes Dept about 4 months ago. I never leave a quote with punters as they will use details for other purposes--I just click one of the "Nothing suitable" thingys or whatever.... This is because twice in succession I had 2 conservatory sides deals -already discounted from list by 20% discounted by a further 35% !!!! I ended up fitting a total of 16 verticals for £494!!! Clouds Sky and Clouds White!List less 20% was £669 and full list was £805! Thats 55% off list and it showed on Management lying monthly swindle sheets as though I had given the discount myself!!!! I ran up to question Quotes and got the "Mouthy cow" who told me that I should be grateful that they had got me the deal and a word of thanks instead of querying a Head Office decision would "have been more in order" ??!!!!!!!!!!!! Some of you will say I got £70 commission I wouldn't have otherwise got-fair enuf-- but as it took 4 separate visits , 2 to measure and 2 to fit and total distance driven was 142 miles then it ain't all that clever. And I got abuse at both fits and no tea at either as they both saw me as a rip-off merchant who had tried to con them at the first call. "I wish I had your job" "Charging what you'll get away with and then hanging on to the difference" No wonder it says earn £3000 plus per month in the jobs section of the ----- Gazette"!!! Sillarys You really dont have the feel of the effect of your decisions as they evolve out here at the sharp end. I will never be grateful to Quotes or anyone at Colwick. and the length of time I want to remain a door-mat are nearing a cut-off. Is there no concern at a higher level than FSM at the morale of us older more expeerienced guys being at rock bottom??? RossK has gone remarkably quiet?? or is it "only me"!?? Bear

Dean Can you throw any light on whether or not the quotes team check the original order value before offering a discount.Today I had a conversion equivilant to 24.3%. It followed an e-mail from area mgr requesting agents to keep an eye on over discounting. MM On a sam quote we can't see the original value of the quote unless you put a little note in the special instructions. With a manual quote discount already given is one of the pieces of information that is keyed on and should be seen and taken into account by everybody who rings the customer.

KIKI Kiki does not work in the quotes department or Hillarys any longer, she has moved jobs and now works down south. If you want to send your quotes in again, you can put my name on them if you like and i'll look after them.
