Can someone explain to me the obsesion with a customer being seen within 2 days, i am sick and tired of being the first to qoute with the other companies not attending for a week or even two. by which time you are forgotten, so do you qoute low and hope or qoute high and let Qoutes Dept  discount OK so I've had a really rotton day, 11 leads, 2 sales but it seems the orders i do get are despite the efforts of HQ and not because of it Someone posted the other day about the negative effect of leaving qoutes all day, nothing bolsters your confidence like a sale, but at the moment they are few and far between with a huge gap between customers expectations of what the blinds will cost and what they actually do cost. |

Hi all firstly best of luck to you GREEN PESTO.  As usual as we approach Easter we are getting the usual bull that lead to diary is spiralling upwards yet everyone in my area is contemplating their futures because our FSM has took on that many new advisors there is now not enough work for us all.  So the usual question is why should we increase our availability when it is clear you cant supply enough leads now? On my own future i thought about quitting. But then i thought hang on i like this job, its Hillarys not me making this harder than it should be and with such a quiet start to this year i need to rely and deal with Hillarys less and find more of my own work. So reducing my diary with Hillarys and with a few business contacts made over the years i have within a few weeks got better quality leads without people enquiring about silly offers and through recently selling my house i have picked up many leads via estate agents and my I.F.A. who has also asked me to join the local B.N.I (Business Networking Group) which is solely there to find referrals for each other.The main result has seen my AOV and conversions rocket. True it may not last but its work i wouldnt have got. So while you can risk dual trading, setting up on your own or leave the blind world altogether its not always necessary to do so, especially if you still like what you do. |

hello all i spoke to my fsm today about 3for 99 and he said its here for a long time yetso i asked him why its only in sertain partas ?not nationel i dont know what you think but im fed up of it only being up here you lot should try it its drives me and my wife crazy........i frew some off the samples away but the locals still buy the ones left thing is if i dont sell them they wont spend more that 99 so i think that comission should be 30%on anythink under 120pounds and 10% for anythink over makes sense really then it would be fare to us all

The thing is, if i don't sell them, they wont spend more that 99 so i think that commission should be 30%on anything under 120 pounds and 10% for anything over makes sense really then it would be fair to us all Actually Northrules, that, to me sounds like a fairly good suggestion and with some fine tuning could be a winner. Not the 10% above 120 quid bit, that would not do at all. There is one smallish knit pick on your plan though. If we all got 30% for orders under 120 quid I think most of us if not all, would suddenly get far more orders at a lot less value. In other words we would all start to split orders down in size so we could get the 30% on everything. Not a good plan. However, I would not hold your breath on any sort of commission changes as Hillary's are totally unmoving on anything to do with commission structure for the adviser network and although everything around us is changing the one thing that is not is the overall package for the adviser. 14.68% is yer lot mate. Don't worry about your spelling, keep posting. Thats what this board is here for. Red |

how can i put a picture on my profile page please ? Find a avatar or any picture you like on the web. Right click and save it to your desktop or a file as whatever. Then you need to subscribe to Photo-bucket, its free. This is the link,just click on it when you are ready. photobucket.com/Once you are on you can down load it to photo bucket. Then right click on it from here and copy the url address. You then paste this into your profile and set the size to 100 * 100. Hope this helps. Other than that you can create a direct link to any picture by again, right clicking on it. Copy its address and just paste this into your profile but this is known as hot linking and some sites don't like it and will block you after a day or so and you just end up with a blank avatar. My mate says we will be banned from smoking in our own vans this year,and if Hillarys receive a complaint they can get rid of us its one more stick to beat us with.I smoke 40 a day so no way will I stop. I hear customers are not allowed to smoke in their house whilst you are there I doubt that will happen.4O a day mate I wouldnt worry that much dont think you will make old bones. |
